Avoid clichés like "hardworking individual who works well in a team." Instead, focus on your specific years of experience, the hard skills you possess, and the exact value you bring to the company. Keep it to 3 or 4 sharp sentences right below your contact details.

3. Action Verbs

Instead of writing "was responsible for managing," write "Directed." Instead of "helped with sales," write "Accelerated sales by 15%." Start every bullet point with a strong action verb.
